Do Rise 360 courses use responsive design?
Yes. You build a Rise 360 course once, and it's fully responsive. You don't have to do any extra work to make a Rise 360 course fit each computer, tablet, or smartphone screen. It'll automatically adapt to each device and screen orientation. It couldn't be easier to create beautiful courses for any device.
What are the system requirements for authoring and viewing Rise 360 courses?

How much storage space do I have for Rise 360 courses?
If you have an individual Articulate 360 subscription, you have 150 GB of storage for Rise 360 courses and Review 360 content items. If you have an Articulate 360 Teams subscription, your team has unlimited storage space.
(Review 360 content items include everything you publish to Review 360 from Rise, Storyline, Studio, Replay, and Peek as well as video files you manually upload.)
Can I author Rise 360 courses on tablets or smartphones?
You need a Mac or Windows desktop/laptop computer to author Rise 360 courses (though you can view Rise 360 courses on any device).
Can more than one author work on the same Rise 360 course at the same time?
Yes! Articulate 360 Teams get exclusive product features that help yout collaborate, such as Rise 360 collaborative authoring. Team members can create and edit different lessons in the same course at the same time or take turns fine-tuning the same lesson. You can even give collaborators different levels of access by making them course collaborators or course managers. Learn more.

Can the same Rise 360 lesson be added to more than one course?
Yes, you can copy lessons across Rise 360 courses. It's easy! Here's how.
You can also create block templates that you can reuse in any course. Articulate 360 Teams subscribers can even share block templates with their team. Learn more about block templates.
Are Rise 360 courses HTML5-compatible or do they require Adobe Flash Player?
Rise 360 publishes HTML5-only courses that work in most modern browsers. See this article for a list of supported browsers.
Rise 360 courses don't use Flash Player.
Can Rise 360 courses be hosted and tracked in a learning management system (LMS)?
Yes. You can export Rise 360 courses for AICC, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI (Tin Can), and cmi5 learning management systems. Just open your Rise 360 course for editing, click Export in the upper right corner of the screen, and choose an LMS specification.
Can Rise 360 courses be published for web distribution?
Yes. If you just need to give someone a quick view of your Rise 360 course, open your course for editing, click Share in the upper right corner, copy the shareable link, and send it to your viewers.
The best option for distributing a web-based Rise 360 course is to open it for editing, click Export in the upper right corner, select No LMS - Web Only from the LMS drop-down list, then click Export in the upper right corner again. You'll get a zip package containing all the files for your course. Just extract the zip package, upload the files to your web server, and give learners a link to the index.html file.

Can learners exit Rise 360 courses and resume where they left off?
Yes, when a Rise 360 course is hosted in Reach 360 or an LMS, learners can exit and resume with their progress intact. The course will automatically pick up at the beginning of the last lesson or quiz where they left off.
Web-only courses always start over at the beginning each time you open them.
Can Rise 360 courses be translated into other languages?
They can! Rise 360 supports translation for left-to-right languages and double-byte character sets, such as Chinese and Japanese.
Does Rise 360 support right-to-left languages?
Not at the moment, but we may in the future. Stay tuned!

Can Rise 360 courses be imported into Storyline 360 or Studio 360?
You can embed Rise 360 courses into Storyline 360, Presenter 360, and Quizmaker 360 projects. First, export your Rise 360 course as a web package and extract the zip file on your local computer. Then, add the extracted folder (that contains the Rise 360 index.html
file) to your Storyline 360, Presenter 360, or Quizmaker 360 project as a web object. See these user guides to learn more about web objects:
What happens to my Rise 360 courses when my free trial or subscription expires?
Your courses will remain intact on our servers up to six months after your paid subscription expires or your trial ends.
During that time, anyone who has direct links to your Rise 360 courses will still be able to view them on our servers. And learners can always view Rise 360 courses that you host on your own web server or LMS.
You won't be able to edit or download your Rise 360 courses after your trial or subscription ends. We recommend that you export them before your term ends. See this article for details about what to do before your account expires and what happens to your apps and content afterward.
If you renew your subscription with the same Articulate ID during the time period when your content is still intact, you'll have access to all your courses again.
When an Articulate 360 Teams seat is transferred from one user to another, what happens to the first user's Rise 360 courses?
You must transfer their shared content. Shared content includes everything in the team directory—Rise 360 and Review 360 content and question banks—as well as Rise 360 shared block templates and Storyline 360 shared team slides. You can choose whether to transfer their personal content—Rise 360 content, question banks, block templates, and Review 360 items stored in personal folders—or keep them with the user's Articulate ID. And if you don't have any open seats to give the new user, you can remove the first user from your team and transfer their content and seat to the new user all at once. Here's how.

Rise 360 uses a mix of industry standards and the latest technologies to optimize your media for faster web delivery without compromising quality. As a result, you can use the highest quality media in your courses and let Rise 360 do all the work of preparing them for distribution over the internet. Which media-hosting sites can be embedded in Rise 360 courses?
We use Embedly to embed rich media in Rise 360 courses, which means you can use videos, images, documents and other media from over 400 content providers, such as YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Scribd. See the complete list of supported content providers here.
Just copy the URL for the media you want to use and paste it into Rise 360. It's that easy!
Are the stock images for Rise 360 cover photos royalty free?
Yes. Our stock assets come from a number of sources, and the good news is they're all royalty free for commercial and non-commercial use.
