To create a safe and respectful environment for every Articulate user, we work to weed out offensive content in Content Library 360 and Articulate AI. We also make reporting easy if you come across anything problematic. Read on to learn more about how we handle inappropriate content within our apps.
Content Library 360
Content Library 360 offers more than 9 million photos, illustrations, icons, and videos that you can access right from Storyline 360, as well as photos and illustrations you can use for your Rise 360 courses. This collection includes several asset libraries that the third-party providers Noun Project, Pixabay, and Unsplash curate and maintain. Content Library 360 lets you view and discover assets in these libraries seamlessly, all at once.
Our licensing agreements with these providers mean we can continuously add new, royalty-free assets to the library. With so many existing assets—and new content being added all the time—we can't personally vet all the media on offer. However, you can request that offensive content in your search results be removed by following the instructions below.
Articulate AI
Articulate AI features allow you to generate content from source material or custom prompts. We have measures in place to block AI generation of offensive content before and after the content is generated.
AI Assistant uses a comprehensive list of restricted terms to aid in moderation before content generation. After generation, our image analysis employs computer vision technologies and machine learning to detect offensive content.
Since AI-generated content relies on user input, it falls outside Articulate's direct control. However, with content moderation in place, we hope to minimize offensive or inappropriate content. And, if content moderation fails, we want to make reporting such content easy—simply follow the instructions below.
Reporting Offensive Content
You can alert us to an inappropriate Content Library 360 asset by submitting a support case. Include a brief description of the offensive content and a screenshot. If you can't provide a screenshot, describe the asset and include the search terms used when you discovered it.
We'll take it from there! We review the case and, if necessary, remove the asset from Content Library 360 so that it's no longer available to Articulate 360 users.
If you encounter offensive AI-generated content, you can report it directly using one of the following forms:
We'll use your feedback to improve our content moderation systems. Since AI-generated content is not available to other users, you can remove it from your course.
