Articulate 360 Teams: Admins Must Be Assigned to User Seats to Use the Articulate 360 Apps

Admins for an Articulate 360 Teams account don't have user seats by default, meaning you can be an admin without being a user. To use the Articulate 360 apps, such as Storyline 360 and Rise 360, admins must be assigned to user seats.

If you're an admin for your team but aren't assigned to a user seat, here are some things you'll see:

  • Web apps, such as Rise 360 and Review 360, won't work.
  • You won't have a download button for the desktop-authoring apps, such as Storyline 360.
  • If you previously installed the Articulate 360 desktop app, you'll see a "trial expired" message in the app.

The good news is it's easy to fix. Just assign yourself to a user seat.

If you don't have any open seats on your team, you can either remove a user from your team so you can take over the seat or purchase additional seats for your team.
