If the publishing wizard in Presenter 360 becomes unresponsive, follow the troubleshooting steps below, depending on how many projects are affected:
You Can't Publish a Specific Project
First, make sure your project file and your publish location are both on your local hard drive (usually your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency.
If your project won't publish on your local hard drive, try rebooting your computer to see if it resolves the problem. Sometimes, a computer process can lock up, and rebooting often fixes it.
If the problem persists, import your slides into a new PowerPoint file, then publish the new project.
If your course still won't publish, create an Articulate Package of your project files, then send us that package (zip file). We'll be glad to investigate it.
You Can't Publish Any Project
First, make sure you're working on your local hard drive (usually your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency.
If your projects won't publish on your local hard drive, try rebooting your computer to see if it resolves the problem. Sometimes, a computer process can lock up, and rebooting often fixes it.
Also, make sure you're using a supported version of Microsoft Office. Presenter 360 works with Microsoft Office 365 (desktop apps only) or the latest perpetual version of Microsoft PowerPoint (32-bit or 64-bit).
If you still can't publish any Presenter 360 projects at all, repair your installation of Studio 360, then reboot your computer and try to publish again.
Also, if you encrypt your files, set an exception for the folder where you're publishing, then try publishing again.
