General
What is Reach 360 and how is it different from an LMS?
Reach 360 is a frictionless LMS to distribute training content quickly and easily. It was built to do a different job: help modern organizations deliver fast-moving, fast-changing training content that needs to get to learners quickly.
Unlike a traditional LMS, Reach 360 requires no implementation time—it's already a part of your Articulate 360 Teams subscription. All you have to do is create training, publish it to Reach 360, and invite learners. It's ideal for rapidly deploying training content to learners. Plus, its intuitive user and content management will save your admins time.
Do I need an LMS to use Reach 360?
No, Reach 360, as part of your Articulate 360 Teams subscription, lets you quickly deploy training to your entire organization. You'll create training in Rise 360 and Storyline 360 and publish it to Reach 360 to deploy for your learners without having to switch to a different platform.
Does Reach 360 require a separate subscription?
The Reach 360 Starter plan is included in every Articulate 360 Teams subscription, with room for 300 active learners per year. If you have more than 300 active learners, you can subscribe to Reach 360 Pro. Contact one of our learning experts at sales@articulate.com to help you find the plan that's right for you.
You can see your current Reach 360 active learner count on the Manage Subscription tab.
What is an active learner?
Reach 360 is tailored to your needs with flexible pricing based on your number of active learners. Each unique learner with training activity in a 30-day period after your annual term starts counts as an active learner, with the additional days included in the final period. That means a learner becomes an active learner only when they begin the first lesson of a course or take a microlearning. Viewing a course or learning path summary without starting the training doesn't count as a training activity. They don't have to complete the training to be counted as an active learner.
Think of your active learner count as "learner credits" drawn from an annually-refreshed credit bank. For example, if your subscription includes 1,200 active learners per year and 100 employees begin courses in the first 30 days, you'll have 1,100 active learners remaining for the rest of your plan year. However, if 50 of those 100 employees didn't complete their training in the first 30 days and resumed training in the next 30-day period, that counts as 50 more active learners used, reducing your credit bank to 1,050.
Note that unused active learners don't roll over at the end of an annual term.
How do I try Reach 360?
Reach 360 is part of Articulate 360 Teams. Just start a 30-day trial to try it out.
I'm already an Articulate 360 Teams subscriber, how do I add Reach 360?

Can I sell training from Reach 360?
Reach 360 facilitates the distribution of content for internal personnel and external contractors and isn't designed to be a selling platform for your courses.
Does Reach 360 offer question-level reporting?

Can my Articulate 360 team have more than one Reach 360 instance? What if I'm a member of multiple Articulate 360 teams?

Manage Training

Whether submitting directly or importing third-party training, content packages must be less than 5GB.
How do I update Reach 360 content?
When authors make changes in Rise 360 or Storyline 360 to previously published training and submit that content for publication, Reach 360 recognizes the updated content and prompts admins to publish the new changes.
Copies of Rise 360 training are treated as new content when submitted. For Storyline 360, you can't use "Save As" copies of projects to submit updates.
How does Reach 360 handle learner inactivity in reports? Is there a timeout?
Reach 360 checks for inactivity in 15-minute intervals. If the learner isn’t “active” in the window or on the tab where the course is, the time isn't counted in their activity for that course. The report stops counting duration after 15 minutes of inactivity. Admins may see more than one session in the activity report if there was inactivity that caused the duration timer to start over.

Reach 360 doesn't offer version control for training at this time.

Absolutely! You can import third-party content from the Course section of the Manage tab. Third-party training must be exported in SCORM 2004 or SCORM 1.2 format.
