- Click All Blocks in the blocks shortcut bar or the insert block icon that appears when you mouse over a boundary between blocks.
- From the sidebar, select the Interactive category, then select Accordion or Tabs.
Step 2: Add Content and New Items
- Hover over the block to access the left-hand design toolbar. Click the Content icon.
- The edit panel opens on the left-hand side. You can modify the title and text of each item.
Click the camera icon to add images, multimedia, or web content. If media is already uploaded, click Edit to replace or remove it. You can also crop, add captions, and add alt tags for existing media. - Click the Add Item button at the bottom of the sidebar to add additional items. You can add as many items as you want! Note that if you add more than four items in tabs, learners will have to scroll to see all of them.
- Click X in the upper right corner to return to your lesson.
You can also edit body text directly inside accordion and tabs blocks. However, you can only edit title text, images, multimedia, and web content in the edit panel.
Step 3: Switch Between Block Types
Think your tabs would look better as accordion items or vice versa? Then change it up! Hover over an existing tabs block. Click the block type selector button that appears to the left of the design toolbar and select Accordion or Tabs from the menu.
That’s it! Reverse the process if you want to switch back.
Step 4: Modify the Block Settings
Modify how your content looks on the screen by hovering over an existing block to access the left-hand design toolbar. Click the Style icon to access block background options. You also have the option to maintain a white background for accordion and tab items when you modify the block background. The Format menu provides options for changing the padding and accordion behavior, as well as disabling zoom for images.
