Storyline 360 no longer supports Flash features.
Since Adobe discontinued Flash at the end of 2020, we no longer develop new Storyline 360 features for Flash output. New features are only supported in HTML5 output, which works perfectly in all major browsers on desktop computers and mobile devices.
The publish dialog lets you know if your project has any HTML5-only features, and if so, you won't have the option to publish Flash output.
Here are the HTML5-only features in Storyline 360. We’ll update this list as new features are released.
Expanded Quiz Tracking
Let Storyline 360 keep track of every quiz in your course, then send results to your LMS for the first quiz each learner completes. Learn more about expanded quiz tracking.
If you need to publish Flash output, remove all but one quiz from your LMS tracking options.
Multiple Completion Criteria
Give learners more than one way to complete a course. Let your LMS mark the course complete as soon as learners view a certain number of slides, finish a quiz, or reach a completion trigger. You can choose one, two, or even all three tracking options. Whichever option a learner completes first is the one that gets reported to your LMS. Learn more.
If you need to publish Flash output, choose only one LMS tracking option.
Publish to cmi5
Publish Storyline 360 courses to cmi5—the newest LMS standard. Learn more.
If you need to publish Flash output, choose a different LMS standard: AICC, SCORM, or xAPI (Tin Can API).
Jump-to-Time Trigger
Use triggers that jump to different times or cue points on the timeline to create unique interactions and give learners new ways to navigate. Learn more about jump-to-time triggers.
If you need to publish Flash output, remove the jump-to-time triggers from your project.
Modern Player
Give desktop and mobile learners a unified experience with a modern player style that's consistent across all devices. Learn more about the modern player.
If you need to publish Flash output, switch to the classic player style.
