Studio 360: Adobe Type 1 PostScript Fonts Aren't Supported

Adobe Type 1 PostScript fonts aren't supported in Studio 360 HTML5 output. They'll be replaced by default system fonts from learners' computers, tablets, and smartphones.

If you accidentally use a PostScript font and Studio 360 crashes when you preview or publish, install the latest software update to fix the problem.

How to Know If You're Using Adobe Type 1 PostScript Fonts

If you're not sure whether you're using PostScript fonts, you can usually tell by checking the font drop-down list in a Microsoft Office app, such as PowerPoint or Word. PostScript fonts are identified by printer icons.

If you're comfortable using the Windows registry, you can find a list of Adobe Type 1 fonts installed on your computer in this registry key:

How to Find and Replace Fonts in Studio 360

If you're using Adobe Type 1 PostScript fonts in a Studio 360 project, we recommend replacing them with OpenType or TrueType versions instead or switching to a different font.
