When you upgrade Storyline 1 and Storyline 2 courses to Storyline 360, you might notice that embedded YouTube videos behave differently if you added them as website videos. (On the other hand, YouTube web objects work the same in all versions of Storyline.)

Why Do YouTube Website Videos Behave Differently in Storyline 360?
In Storyline 1 and 2, we used Google’s API to embed YouTube videos. However, Google made a change to the API in May 2015 that prevented new videos from being embedded as website videos. (If you added YouTube videos to your Storyline courses prior to May 2015, they’ll continue to work properly. Google’s API change only prevented new videos from being added.)
In Storyline 360, we no longer use Google’s API to embed YouTube videos. As a result, when you upgrade Storyline 1 and 2 courses to Storyline 360, there will be some changes to the way YouTube website videos work (details below).
How Are YouTube Website Videos Different in Storyline 1 and 2 vs. Storyline 360?
