To ensure a better user experience, we’ll stop supporting 32-bit Windows with the March 2025 update for Storyline 360 and the Articulate 360 desktop app. This shift also lets us focus on enhancing the 64-bit versions of Articulate 360 apps. Find all the details below.

Why We’re Making This Change

Most of our customers use 64-bit machines, and 64-bit apps offer enhanced stability, performance, and memory access. Additionally, since the number of 32-bit processors and operating systems currently in use is extremely low, we want to focus on apps that provide the best value for the most Articulate 360 subscribers.

November 2023

We released 64-bit Storyline 360 in public beta.

May 2024

We moved 64-bit Storyline 360 from public beta into general availability and made it the default Storyline version in the desktop app.

February 2025

We announced that the February 2025 update of the Articulate 360 desktop app is the final supported version for customers using 32-bit Windows 10.

March 2025

We’ll end support for 32-bit Windows 10 with the March 2025 update for Storyline 360 and the Articulate 360 desktop app. That means 64-bit will become the only version for those apps going forward.

As of March 2025, you won’t be able to upgrade Storyline 360 and the Articulate 360 desktop app on 32-bit Windows. If these apps are already installed on your machine, you can still access their previous versions. You can also still install and access Studio 360, Replay 360, and Peek 360.

Moving forward, you need a 64-bit machine to update Storyline 360 and the Articulate 360 desktop app.
