Articulate 360: Disabling Cloud-based Services
Article Last Updated
This article applies to:
Because some organizations must manage the use of online or cloud-based services, we’ve made it easy for account owners to request that cloud-based services—like Rise 360, Review 360, Storyline 360 team slides, and Storyline 360 text-to-speech—be disabled for their entire subscription. Disabling cloud-based services allows users to enjoy desktop-authoring apps while conforming to organizational policies.

What to Expect
Here's what to expect from Articulate 360 apps and features when cloud services are disabled.
Rise 360
When Rise 360 is disabled:
- Articulate 360 Dashboard: Rise 360 is hidden from the Articulate 360 dashboard, including the navigation drop-down list and the onboarding checklist.
- Rise 360: Rise 360 is hidden so you can't access it. If you navigate to https://id.articulate.com/redirect/rise, you're redirected to the Articulate 360 dashboard. This also means that shareable web links for viewing Rise 360 courses won't work.
Note: If content was created in Rise 360 before the service was disabled, those courses can no longer be accessed. The content is retained on our servers for up to six months after your paid subscription expires or your trial ends and can be accessed again if the Rise 360 service is re-enabled within the six-month retention period.
- AI Assistant: AI Assistant is not available when Rise 360 is disabled.
- Articulate 360 Training: Rise 360 is hidden from the navigation drop-down list.
- Articulate 360 Desktop App: Rise 360 is hidden from the Articulate 360 desktop app.
